Mike Thomas has been dubbed “The Marathon Man” by his Rogers 3.5 men’s teammates out of Dalton.  Thomas had a long first match of the day Friday, and followed that up by dropping the first set of his second match 2-6.  But Thomas fought back and took the second set 6-4 and then came out on the winning side of a 10-8 Match Tie Break.  Thomas was the first from his team to go on court, and he came off to an entire group of cheering teammates.  Cheering not only for Mike’s win, but because they had long since finished their own matches! 

Overall the Rogers Team didn’t fare so well Friday, with two team losses.  But they all say they’re happy to be here, and they’re confident they’ll win their next two matches.
