Yvonne Monet is
a DJ weekends from 2 to 6 p.m. on DaveFM (92.9) in Atlanta and
brings her rock n’ roll personality to her Southern Crescent 4.0 Low
team, Summit YMCA, in Newnan, GA. Captain Cherie Opel and her team
were rockin’ out at the Player Party Friday evening at Canongate at
Healy Point CC.
“We shut down
the player party last night,” team member Julie Ruble mentioned.
Seems the team was doing a little unauthorized swimming in the Healy
Point pool . . . But she, Yvonne and fellow teammate Lynda Lewis
were up bright and early, despite not having a match until 6 p.m.
Saturday.
Yvonne has
started an event DJ business where she DJs and hands out concert
tickets and iPods to guests, and loves tennis events best of all.
